Functional Vision Therapy

We Coach and Guide

Achievers Unlimited of Wisconsin, Inc. is a team of functional/developmental optometrists, vision therapists, occupational therapists and educators. Individuals are evaluated to determine if a vision, perception, motor program was indicated.

Vision Therapy develops or enhances:

  1. Vision Skills - beyond health and seeing 20/20 at distance; over 29 skills need to be developed for academic, sports, music and social success
  2. Visual Perception Skills - understanding what we see
  3. Balance, Eye/Foot/Hand/ Brain Coordination - teaching the body to work as an efficient team
  4. Multi-Tasking Ability - putting it all together-being able to do more than one thing at a time
  5. Academic Reinforcement - researched techniques to improve study skills, penmanship, spelling, writing and more

AVOID LABELS - - - DEVELOP SKILLS!

    85% of school is a visual task. When an individual is not showing the school how smart they are, be sure a functional or behavioral optometrist checks them for 20/20 and beyond. There is a vision skills and visual perceptual component to most labels.
