Dr. Charles Hendrix

My name is Dr. Charles Hendrix.  I am an optometrist who has been working with Achievers Unlimited for more than seven years.  At Achievers, there is an emphasis on perceptual development which refers to how the brain processes the information that the eyes give to it.  Additionally, binocular (two eyes) and monocular (one eye) skills are strengthened.  I am sensitive to this branch of functional optometry that gets ignored or overlooked in many optometric offices.  I value the importance of helping and actually teaching the visual system to develop normally.  After
all, more than 80% of learning is done visually.
